  1. Hard to Recycle Electronics and Hazardous Waste Event

    The annual Hard to Recycle Event will be held on Saturday, May 20th. This event is for the collection of electronics, household hazardous waste and hard to dispose of items. Acceptable items include televisions, computers, computer peripherals, batteries, tires, household hazardous waste (paints, paint thinners, oils, antifreeze, etc.), bulk items and building materials. The event is free and is available to Swissvale residents only. Please bring a photo ID or another proof of residency with your current Swissvale address to dispose of your items at this event. This event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Park and continue until 1:00 p.m. Please see the list below of accepted and restricted items.
