Parking Tickets & Citations

Borough Issued Parking Tags

Parking Tickets are issued by both the Swissvale Police Department and Code Enforcement to vehicles that are in violation of the Borough Motor Vehicle Code. Violations include, but are not limited to, expired parking meters, violation of residential parking permit, blocking or parking on sidewalks, blocking a driveway, and parking in a handicap space

Street Sweeping

Street Sweeping begins on Monday, April 4, 2022. Cars must be moved off the street between 8:00 a.m. and noon on your street sweeping day to accommodate the street sweeper. Cars that are not moved will be ticketed. If you are unsure of your street sweeping day, please check the street sweeping signs on your street, check this list or call the Borough Administrative Office to determine your street sweeping day. Warnings to move vehicles will be issued for the first two weeks of street sweeping. Ticketing of illegally parked vehicles began on April 18, 2022.
